Hydrotherapy for your first time.

Your initial consultation usually takes 60 minutes and we recommend your pet is fed no later than 2 hours prior to the session. A veterinary referral form is required to treat your pet and we will take your pets history and conduct an assessment so we can design a programme specifically around your pets needs and discuss this with you. Introduction to the pool is only with veterinary referral form.
Early morning clients are welcome to bring your pets breakfast with you for after the session.

Therapy sessions

After initial consultation therapy will usually be 30 minutes for hydrotherapy. Please bring towels with you for after the therapy session and to also help keep your dog warm on the journey home. We do have dog-drying facilities and also have Hydro-pet’s super
dog-drying towels to purchase in various sizes and colours.

The Active Dog

At Hydro-Pet we also look after athletic and working dogs to help maintain peak physical fitness. Please speak to our hydrotherapist about a fitness regime. A vet consent form will be required prior to therapy.

TTouch

TTouch massage also known as the Tellington Touch is a series of circular touches on your dog’s body, using different pressures and patterns, This has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, speed healing, and increase focus and the ability to learn and builds confidence in your dog. TTouch sessions are around 30 -40 minutes.
